Belt Ceremony
It’s only 4:30pm, but I feel like it’s going on 8. I’ve been running around all morning long and finally the day is over for me. Well, my responsibilities for the day are over I should say. I can now exercise my right to do absolutely nothing and have fun doing it.
My last event for the day was my nephew’s belt ceremony. He’s now a green belt, watch out 2nd graders. The most interesting part of the ceremony was the demonstration at the end. The instructors broke wood planks, cement blocks, and baseball bats.
I, being someone who lacks “chi” and appreciates non-broken bones, would never try such a thing. I’m not scared or anything, I’m just not crazy either.
